I think it's about here that I became annoyed with Estrella during my first read lol. I still love this series over all but our FMC is emotional in a way that grates a bit, especially when it leads to her acting outside of her best interest/common sense.

I totally forgot we start this one off with Caldris' POV and how hyped I'd been when I first read it. It's nice revisiting our unhinged anti hero (??) here after so long. It feels like its been a million years since I started this series because of the long stretch between books 3 & 4.
