Elke is starting On the Savage Side
What a beautiful book
Raw, disturbing
But so much love
And never any cliches

Elke
Elke is starting Demon Copperhead
I had such high hopes for this one
What a smart little boy, what a witty, sarcastic story teller!
Loved it
But by the time he busted his knee, it was like all possible kinds of drugs use and abuse needed to get their part in this story
Which was just too much
Oh and the happy ending.... but that's because I believe demons can never really leave you

Elke
Elke is starting Dangerous Friends: My Father and the Cambridge Spy Ring
Not a bad book
Really well written except for all the 'quotes' which totally ruined its flow
And in the end just made me skip entire paragraphs.
Pitty
Becuase Rees herself had a nice stie and kept you captivated.

Elke
Elke is starting Holocaust Survivors in Postwar Germany, 1945–1957
I struggled through the first 100 pages
And then gave up
I only read highlights after that
This book is really well documented and researched, but too academic for me
Too repetitive and too detailed.
But still: what a book! What an insight this gives
