yeah, this book's okay (trying not to think of it 24/7)

just discovered that this series has entries listed separately on here LOL. anyway back to it! just finished setting up for my 2025 challenge, we'll see whether i finish this one before or after 2025!

i am LOVING this book so far. love the style of storytelling, nice and reflective and meaningful

very excited for this one--think i need a book like this at the moment

this chapter is SO ANNOYING oh my god. there's some good tips in there but most of it feels unnecessary and overcomplicated... like, are these suggestions, or orders? lmao

i admit i had read about half of this book before--but i skimmed through and now i'm about where i was, ready to get back into it! a cheeky shorter read to cap off my 2024 challenge :)

the night wire was so short but so good! very effective and gripping short story

ADORE how The Wind in The Woods is written. stylistically, absolutely my favourite of the bunch (besides some pretty frequent comma splicing, lol), just a real treat for the imagination

unseen--unfeared does a solid job of pondering the evils of the human psyche. i'm a sucker for descriptive internal dialogue so i am having fun with this one so far!

whoops! forgot to update for a few days, but still enjoying this book! there were one or two weaker stories towards the start, but they seem to be getting better as they go along. excited to see what else is in store with this anthology ❤️

latest story was somewhat confusing, but the writing was very engaging!

i'm not gonna lie, learning about the meridians got me sooo sleepy. i'm still a bit confused but i feel like i learnt something. loved learning about the 5 elements!

woooo!! physical section finished. i admit the scientific lingo took extra time to wrap my head around, but im glad i made it through because 1. i learnt several new things and 2. im finally onto my most anticipated section of the book!!!

super stoked to learn more about meridians, chi, prana, etc.!

fascia... i honestly was confused about this to start with, and getting to this section i was worried i would completely switch off with all the science

it was actually quite engaging! i feel like i've definitely learnt something new today 😌

i am sick as a parrot right now, so what better time to read spooky stories?
