The beginning 1/3 of this book was an unexplained loving relationship between the two main characters. This opening section was a little confusing and not what you expect from Tal Bauer. Then, about face, the book becomes very interesting (if not still confusing) but exciting and and an excellent developing romance. At 50% it still is a little confusing, not all of the secrets revealed but a great romance.

I was very confused by the beginning of this book, almost put it down. Its also gruesome to some extent. But now I am really enjoying the M/M romance. Funny and touching.

Almost done and I am really liking this book. Nice love story, some hockey and a hot cowboy.

Excellent story with two challenged (autistic, neurological problems) teenagers trying to put together a relationship. It is intense to read, trying to grasp how these two are communicating with each other and handling what life has given them. The author is doing an amazing job of getting into their heads (and your's).

Just so good!!! Mostly about David in the first half. Jake is just now coming on scene. I think you have to know the previous books to really understand the emotion and heartbreak I'm feeling right now. Another half to go and I can't wait.

Just starting. M/F for my M/M friends. Have to have read "The Tied Man" to understand Finn & Lilith dynamics.

I'm really liking this book. Very different from usual formulaic M/M reads. More of another Nicky James' "psych" read than Valor and Quaid type.

Put on hold for the time being. Too many characters floating around for me and I just can't believe an 18-year old captain in the NHL. I'm sure its me because so many other people loved it.

Re-reading.

I'm really, really liking this book. I just wish I wouldn't get interrupted so much so I could sit down and enjoy the rest of it. Okay, that's my bellyache for the day.

Okay, I'm feeling better about everything now. At least Aslan told Ruiz what's up (now if he just tells Quaid). I'm liking the mystery/suspense portion of this book more than the others.

I know I'm always complaining about needing more emotion in my stories but this one is draining me. I love these guys. Aslan stop messing around!!

Started a little slowly but now I'm hooked. Wonderful banter. About to embark on a treasure hunt in the Mexican jungle.

Just in case I forget to add this to my review later, I don't think anyone should read this that hasn't read #1 and #2. Larkin and Doyle's relationship is really special and I think it wouldn't make sense without their history. P.S. I just purchased a #4. Didn't know there would be another one.

DNF. Sorry but this book is just not for me, it's really slow and I hate to say it very boring. I've struggled with it long enough and now I'm going on to something else. No Jonty in site for me.

"Well, I've been reading for a couple of hours or so far and I'm at 8%. Thankfully another reviewer I just read mentioned this (he said he thought he was about to face a long arduous trip.) However he assured future readers that the book is great and don't worry about the length. I'll let you know how it goes.

This book gives a whole new meaning to "slow burn." If something doesn't start burning soon I might give up.

Put on hold until Book #2 released. Enjoyed this book so far.

DNF. I normally adore S.E. Harmon but this is the 2nd book I just didn't like. The story was all over the place, rent boy, failing restaurant, mafia. All of this with really no emotion (on my part).
