Finished part one and the interludes. Lots of mysteries and a very slow burn so far

They came across a big fancy house that was run down. They went in to see if they could find some food. They found a trap door, opened it and there were people chained up inside. They decide to get out as quickly as possible for fear of being caught and killed. They think the gang that lives in that house might kill and eat the people under the floor

Liking this book so far, not much has happened yet but love the relationship between the father and son

Finished part three where Piranesi finds The Prophet who seems to be an old university professor who taught a group of students how to get to the house but also held one of his students captive in his home, the other whose name is Ketterman might have been one of his students?

Finished part 2. There is a 16th person in the house with Piranesi and the other. Apparently the other knows who this person is but won’t tell Piranesi. Also it seemed that at the end there was some sort of passage that led somewhere that two people where talking and a note asking about a specific statue came to Piranesi.

Very interesting so far, lots of mystery, how did the house come to be? Why are the two of them there? How did the people in the house die? And what is the power the other spoke of?

July and Joe running to a man called Mr Sedgwick who is a pretty weird man. after that we with the hat Creek crew and bolívar accidentally spooks the horses on the wagon and cause it crash and Lippy almost drowns and Bal decides to leave the gang. Call and Augustus, heading to San Antonio and of course some commotion in a saloon for not being recognised as they used to be Texas Rangers.

The creek gang are continuing on their journey to Montana during crossing a wide river. One of their members called Sean O’Brien got snake bitten and is now dead. We are now following July‘s deputy sheriff called Roscoe he stumbled upon a farm where a woman called Louisa is living and he stayed with her for a few nights. Now he’s back off to Texas to find July and tell him his wife has left.

The drive for the hat Creek gang has started, I love all of that gang and can’t wait to see where the story goes next for them. We are now following a sheriff called July and I have a feeling that this is going to tie in because he is hunting down Jake spoons. I’m sure there’s going to be some fireworks later in the book.

The gang are going to Mexico for the night to see if the they can rustle up some wild horses and possibly find some cattle that they would be able to take to Montana to start a company up there

Rick tried to go after one of the androids Luba luft. She ended up calling the police for him trying to interrogate her, the police took him to a station which he hadn’t heard of before. Inspector Garland is the man who ran that facility, and he turned out to be one of the androids Rick was looking for. He meets Phil Resch who is an android but also a bounty hunter as well. They then go off to get Luba luft.

Find it interesting that we are mostly following John Isidore and not Rick Deckerd. John has taken a cat to the vet and it has died. Now the family need to figure out whether they’re going to replace the cat or the wife will have to tell the husband that the cat is dead. Still don’t know whether to think John is android or not, they call them chicken head but don’t think means he’s an android

Following John Isador in this chapter, I think he is an android we experience some of his memories of how he was able to bring animals back to life. There’s also this part where he and some other people are experiencing climbing up a hill but not sure if that’s real or not. These may be just memories that he was given to flash out his memory as an android.

Starts a lot different to the film, I’m a little confused but want to read on still

Classic Sanderson book, slow starting but we are starting to learn a bit more about the characters and the world and what is going on.

Susan is now a vampire, mark and her went to the marsten house and were caught by stracher, mark managed to get away but Susan was turned into a vampire by Kurt Barlow.

Mike Ryder’s on is dead, he has been turned into a vampire and now Matt Burke may have also been bitten as well, but he has had a heart attack and we don’t know if he’s dead or not yet. Ben is also now in hospital as he got beaten up by Floyd Susan’s ex-boyfriend

We we have been introduced to all the main characters in the book, a boy called Ralphie glick has gone missing and his brother Danny Glick has died in the hospital. Kurt, Barlow and Straka have set up the business in in Salem’s Lot and I think something shady is going on there.

Really good so far, love the slow build introducing all the characters (there are a lot). Not too scary so far, but there was one part that was pretty scary where Ben is remembering going into the Marsten house as a kid

Starting to get to the climax of the book now, all the stories are coming to a head with Shallan getting found out having stolen the soalcaster. Kaladin and bridge 4 are starting to become a real force and they’re training up to be able to escape the bridge crews. Dalinar has been presumed not guilty of the attempt on the king’s life but they still think it could be an assassination attempt

Shallan has stolen Jasnah’s fabrial and is trying to work out how to use the fabrial now

Flashback chapter with kaladin, he is trying to save a little girl from bleeding to death, he fails but his father comforts him and tells him he has to figure out when to care and when not to
