Book 3 of 6 Complete - Mansfield Park

I do feel like all of the stories are quite similar, very focused on the exploration of the values & priorities of the time - some very corrupt values - and of course marriage & characters visiting each others homes🤣 but they’re enjoyable to listen to - particularly with the choice of narrator’s & voice acting!!

Book 2 of 6 complete - Pride & Prejudice

As with Sense & Sensibility I loved the dramatised audio & really think this increased my enjoyment of the book, I’m glad I decided to enter my Jane Austen era this way, excited to continue with the rest of the books!!

Book 1 of 6 done (Sense & Sensibility) honestly loved that so much more than I expected - the dramatised adaptation with the atmospheric sound & voice acting honestly made me enjoy the story so much more than I think I would have reading it!!

Read the first 2 short stories over the christmas period, a christmas carol & the chimes - will jump back in & read the rest this year’s festive season…

might need to be a dnf here cause i am traumatised by the first chapter of smut😵‍💫 i dont think im built for monster romance

I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this one yet but I’m enjoying the world building & gothic fantasy elements … I do always struggle to get into a new one on audio though
