Only 14 pages in and the censored swearing has already annoyed me lmao

OK so seeing that marking a book as DNF and into the goodreads shelf of it, it still adds to your yearly goal. Personally, I'm no a fan of that. I'd much rather just delete it from my profile and hope no notices lol

I was looking at my unfinished collection of the first Warrior Series the other day and hoped that maybe one day someone who donate the missing books to my collection. And then I shit you not, 2 days later a woman and her daughter donated them in. Manifestation when it comes to books always seems to work for me.
Been reading so much heavy horror stuff recently so time to dive into childhood nostalgia.

Holy fuckin Hell.

As soon as the character revealed who he used to work for, I want the pleasure of reading his death.

Gave in to the pressure and bought and have now started the book. The first 50 pages I wasn't feeling it but starting to ease in now. I've chuckled a few times, enjoying the characters - still not fully convinced LitRPG like this is for me...but still a bit to go. It might win me over.

The amount of times ive had to stop reading to wipe my eyes because they've been stinging so much from crying.

This book is wrecking me. How am I meant to recover after this?!

I will die for this little boy. I want to hug him so bad.

90 pages in and im loving every moment of this ride so far. I so hope that this will be a new favourite book.

My reread of this was phenomenal. I love this fucked up charismatic villain, the action, the main protagonist - eating that shit up. Tanked it in a single night, looooooove.

I forgot how horrible and charismatic this villain was, I love every scene with him.

Tanking through this tonight. Heartbreaking. But the question is, will it make me cry?

So one of my all time favourite things/tropes was used at the end of this book and Aaaaahhhh bumped my rating up a little bit.

If it weren't for Christianity, do you think many of us would still believe in magic and other worlds? Im probs too dumb to have a full conversation about this stuff, but no doubt something else would have replaced Christianity. Science for one. But theres something sweet imagining someone in the year 2026 leaving offerings for fairies under a tree and it not being considered childish but actual worship.

Folks 2 and 1 star reviews reflect a lot of how I feel about this book. I'm still sticking to my haiku review challenge this month so im not gonna be able to express all my thoughts...but everything i thought i would dislike about this books ended up not what bothered me at all. The last 50 pages pissed me the fuck off.

This is very entertaining. The writing isn't the best. But ooohhhh vampires.

Crying. Bade's one of the best foster dads I've ever read.

Father/daughter relationships in books have me SAT and ready for emotional wreckage.

Even though it was only two pages of 'steam' it took me by surprise as from the vibe and story telling of this book I wasnt expecting a sexually charged scene xD

I am both glad and furious thats its taken me forever to read this book. Loving every moment of it.
