This entire book has only consisted of two people who desperately love each other but neither will admit it nor recognize they are fated mates and it’s just them bickering the entire time. Aside from that, it’s been a decent read. I love the fated mates trope.

I had to dnf. I typically enjoy a cheating trope if done right, but I have this nagging feeling that the FMC is going to stay with her husband and nothing makes me dnf faster than a weak ass FMC.

My blood pressure is sky high. There wouldn’t be a book because I would have beat the hell out of him, packed my shit and left for good.

I’ve had to fight through to get to book 3. There’s been a lot of cringe but I’m far too deep to give up now, but the FMC just used the word twatapottamus and I feel like that is my final straw.

Someone convince me not to dnf this book. Why are simple words spelled differently like day is spelled dae. Mommy is Mahmi. For me, the story is kind of hard to follow.

Been on my TBR for quite a while now. Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

So, I kept going with this book because it is my favorite trope. Within the first few chapters I thought “hey, I’ve read this book before” and it’s because it’s literally almost identical to the book Obsessed by RJ Lewis. I mentioned that in my previous progress update. I kept going to see if there were more similarities and by god, every thing is basically the same except minor details…

I had a strange feeling that I’ve read this book before. As I kept going, I knew I had read a book almost identical to it called Obsessed by R.J. Lewis 👀 Literally the same story so far….

Common theme in my fantasy books is always an FMC that never eats. She’s always given food or offered food, yet says she’s not hungry or refuses to eat. It could never be me, baby. I’m always eating and I’m not refusing a steamy bowl of stew with bread.

I think the Boys of Tommen series is one of the greatest things to ever happen on this planet and so is Joey 😭
