I started this off by listening to a sample of the audiobook while getting ready… let me tell you that chittering/clicking noise is creepy as HELL lol. I probably wouldn’t have been so unsettled by JUST reading about it so it certainly adds to the atmosphere the author was trying to convey

I never check trigger warnings because they spoil the book, however I listened to the spoilers unintentionally in the audiobook (I hate the narrator btw I returned it) BUT should you have some aversions to specific things being talked about/done to the FMC it’s worth it to know beforehand. I hated reading those things, however it’s a sad reality of many women & children (at any point in history)

This book just makes me want to yell and scream stop making yourself smaller for others!!!! Esp stupid ungrateful men even if they are your family

I’m not even that far in, but this is pretty interesting. Pretty decent so far. I think I’m going to really like this one.
