About to dnf this because it’s such a drag to get through. I had high hopes at the start but it is so dull.

Not sure about this one.. I was excited about the premise but it’s not keeping my attention..

Emotional devastation at its finest

It took me a while to get into this tbh.. I paused and came back to it and am thoroughly enjoying it now. Maybe I’m alone but just in case anyone is struggling with the multiple timelines, new characters etc.

I’m not sure about this one. Second dnf in a row? Time will tell 🫠

I don’t dislike this, but I’m also halfway in and couldn’t care less about what’s happening. I’m going to pause for now and revisit it at some point.

This isn’t the type of book I normally read, but I’m about halfway through and very glad I gave it a chance.

The premise is a near-future America where prisoners fight in televised death matches for public entertainment and the chance to earn their freedom.

Not a light read, but if you like books that make you think about the world (and maybe feel a little unsettled about it) this one is worth checking out.
