I watched the movie last night, and that has given me an impossible ro resist pull to re-read the whole series. Pity they have not turned the second book into a movie yet. It was the best in the series for me. I was glad to see that Mal was still as much a hoot in the movie, as he was in the books.

Only picked to abide by my habit of reading a book set in every new country I visit ( and because it is short). I will probably continue with all the Icelandic sagas as it is a fascinating -as well as beautiful and wild- country with very interesting history.
