Love the reflective conclusion to 'The Man Who Wanted His Nose Cut Off'

A LOT of repetition from book 1

'He had plainly come many miles from somewhere across the vast horizon, as the dust upon him showed. His boots were white with it. His overalls were gray with it. The weather-beaten bloom of his face shone through it duskily, as the ripe peaches look upon their trees in a dry season.'

‘Don’t give up all your romance, Anne,’ he whispered shyly, ‘a little of it is a good thing – not too much, of course – but keep a little of it, Anne, keep a little of it.’

It's getting a bit sloppy and rushed

Omg the PHOTOGRAPHS!! These are incredible!
