Despite this book have a strong female lead, her first interaction with another female isn't until 300 pages into the book, and I'mhesitant to say that conversation passed the Bechdel test as the main subject of the conversation was about a man, but appearances of one of the women was discussed so, maybe it passes. So far this book would be better if it has been written by a women seeing as he wanted a female lead.

So far this book doesn't pass the bechdel test, so like any other mainstream fantasy written by a man. Not living up to the hype for me. We will see what happens as I'm only 115 pages in.

Reading my Owlcrate edition which is gorgeous.

Just when I think the authors are back on track focusing on evidence, they pull out their love of America saying it's the only thing stopping globalism and I want to stop reading again... I don't like the idea of a cooperate-gov run global state, but I also don't much like nationalistic ideaology. So, really can we just get back to the Covid facts...

As I struggle on through this book full of very accurate information, I'm still on the fence of contuing to read it due to the extreme nationalism promoted by the authors. They really think that God gifted America as the pinnacle of all things good and it's really taking away from their well sources material...

Oh boy. I don't doubt the well researched information in this book as it seems to be showing the same evidence I have read on about 10 other books, but already the political rhetoric is making me rethink reading this particular one. I want facts not conversion to your political party... Or American superiority complex. We'll see how long I last.
