I am about to DNF based solely on the fact that he purposely let the evil sorcerer live. Stupid.

I’m on chapter 26, and I’m still so annoyed at the main point of conflict between them all. From the moment they all come back together I’ve thought, “Are these guys really so stupid that they would just 100% believe that weak tale their torturers told them about the failed escape attempt? And never even consider that their jailers were the liars?” I really can’t get over the stupidity.

I hate this trope. 😩

Can this be any more ridiculous? I can’t believe we’re still stuck in this “if he watches the video, he’ll change his mind” idea that was sweet and hopeful at first, but is just utterly stupid after hours of the same attempt. Are we not going to try any other approach? Ugh. Wreck the building already. 😬

Unfortunately, these voice actors are making it hard to finish this book. Not a fan of the audio, but trying to enjoy the story anyway.
