Okay but why is this straight out of Six of Crows? It's fucking Jurda all over again for the "super soldiers" just slightly different and honestly this book is up there with SoC so this is a good thing. (SoC is my favorite book of all time.)

What is with Witchers obsessions of calling themselves old? Geralt is only about 100 years old and is saying he is "too old for this" meanwhile Vesemir is fighting Wavern and he is 250-300+ but also calling himself old. They were mutated to live for over 500 years expecting to be dead by 150 because of their job and Vesemir is the oldest recorded Witcher. Not to mention where the monsters come from now 🤦‍♀️.

This scene is SOOOOOOOO much better in the show. Plus I can imagine Geralt with his sword at Yen's neck saying "mine" then I can see him just talking to Yarpen out of curiosity

I think it's funny that Witchers are so old that when Vesemir calls Lambert or Coën young he is referencing 60-100 year old Witchers (Vesemir's age is never given but he is somewhere between 200-300+)

Ok but why was that the most female empowering scene ever? Especially written by a man

I wish they explained how they do the mutation and I also wish they didn't from that description of a Witcher who had a difficult mutation
