You think having a boyfriend will solve your problems, but you're wrong. I know how easy it is to think that a relationship will complete you, but trust me, until you find true and lasting worth in Christ, you will constantly be searching for the next thing. Even as Christians, we can fall into this trap. Having a boyfriend or husband is wonderful, but it will not ultimately fill the God-sized hole in your heart.

Healthy discipline and self-control are NOT something you and I can achieve by trying harder. They are fruits of the Spirit. Focus on your relationship with God and things will fall into place that you can't accomplish on your own.

I might feel like the world is falling apart, but God's eternal plan of redemption is going off without a hitch.

Guys I genuinely want to talk to you if you have a polar opposite worldview then my own. I want to have a productive conversation with you. If nothing else, I hope we can understand each other better. But c'mon when I'm being sworn at, called names, and blocked, what does it accomplish? More division. It literally doesn't bother me if you do those things to me, but I just wish we could talk and learn from each other.

Lord, I pray that long after I am gone my impact is not.

I know this sounds kind of cliche but be the reason someone sees Jesus today. Play with your little siblings, make cookies for your neighbor, help your mom without her asking, whatever you can think of. Be the hands and feet of Jesus. Be a servant even if no one else sees it. Lay up treasures in Heaven today.
