I think is interesting that in multiple moments the writer says ENM gives you an opportunity for more people to lean on. But it also states that you have more people to lose in cases like the pandemic which is when this book was written

Esther is kinda crazy. She called him a hypocrite because he actually was experienced after all omg and the way she uses his illness to her own little advantage she kinda doesn’t gaf

The MC is kinda drab and dumb. He’s kinds acting like our cameraman. Like stay away from them aliens

Just ten minutes in the book is racist and the MC is kinda rude but she's real asf too.

I really like this little scene where she says here grandmother used to tell her how much something she's eating would cost and so when she ate food she could only taste pennies.

I also like that it reads like a diary. It makes the book more fun and palatable to read.
