Poor Scarlett. Her plan to get Rhett to marry her has failed. But it’s so funny that even in this humiliation she’s so vain that the first thing she can think of is that she definitely would have succeeded in her seduction if not for her bare hands showing in all their working condition

I wonder when the tension between Ashley and Scarlett will dissolve.
I wonder of there’s any way to mend this.
Scarlett doesn’t hate Melanie as much as she once did… perhaps they could be a throuple ?

I feel like so much happened in this one but I’ve forgotten it all next to the exchange between Scarlett and Rhett where he proclaims his interests in her plainly. How much longer can their interactions continue to be so entertaining

What a dramatic war torn love story. Scarlett keeps regressing and not maturing. But the drama is just too good. Her exchange with Ashley on his brief return made new feel like I was there

I can see now why Ashley loves Melanie so much. It makes sense even more still why Rhett can respect her so much while belittling and rage baiting Scarlett as much as he does

Part 2 starts off a little slow compared to how part 1 ended.

These party chapters are always so crazy crazy crazy insane. And this Captain butler. Lord. He reminds me of lord Henry from Dorian grey family

I'm supposed to watch the 1939 adaption of this movie in theaters next month and I cannot imagine that, given the time period and the Hayes code, the book will be properly adapted. I mean Scarlett is highly crazy asf there's no way she'll be depicted with the same skeptical and fast attitudes she walks around with.

That chapter was so stupid intense. It felt like a season finisher. It was insanely consequential and filled with so many good scenes. We get to really get to know Scarlett and her shenanigans here. She's such a crazy charming selfish girl you can't help but love it love it

What a miserable scenario of Adam. I wondered why he escaped his sentence with three days left. The thought that he was just afraid of being picked up when his sentence concluded again is so sad

End thus ends the story of Cathy … or does it ?!

This chapter (9) was a little weird with the introduction of Cathy. I imagine this one probably isn’t too popular
