What a dramatic war torn love story. Scarlett keeps regressing and not maturing. But the drama is just too good. Her exchange with Ashley on his brief return made new feel like I was there

I can see now why Ashley loves Melanie so much. It makes sense even more still why Rhett can respect her so much while belittling and rage baiting Scarlett as much as he does
