Shout out to Kassad for banging Sol’s daughter.. jk. But didn’t know she was that much of a bad ass. Still confused about the scene from book 1 where she turns into the shrike but whatevs.

This story rocks. Definitely ended on a solid note. Satisfied. Potentially may read #3 but I like where this ended.

They pulled a matrix. Farming humans for energy. Interesting reveal of the tree of pain. Makes sense they aren’t actually skewered on a big metal tree. But damn what a shitty simulation to be stuck in.

As always Gladstone is a Big balla shot calla. Great leaders make the hard decisions. Morpungo redeemed himself. Pacific Rim’d that bitch.

I like the reintroduction of side characters. The dinner in the tree was an interesting scene that incorporated the majority of side character heavy hitters from the pilgrims individual stories. I hope father whatshisface went to the nude pool party
