Captivating

Began reading remainder on kindle and it’s become darker and more disturbing than I expected. Not happy about that.

Should be interesting

The memories in those pages highlight the importance of preserving our cultural heritage for education and community identity. They highlight the importance of remembering the past and sharing these vital stories and lessons with future generations. Preserving the roots enhances the education of future generations. Shared memories help people better understand themselves and their place in the world.

From the forward:

The core of this story asks a deep question: What does it mean to be human in a world shaped by history and driven towards the future?

This is a nice gentle book.
While death occurs, it is not described in details that would upset even a younger reader.
