I’m not sure what evelyn did but that’s the hook that is keeping me going, not sure how it can get worse than what’s she’s already done

it’s pretty gay (im just being honest ok!!!)

4 stars currently ugh im loving it. Not sure what would make it 5, maybe if it makes me cry or my heart ache, but it’s climbing for sure.

the Celia and Evelyn ~scene~ was hard to read lol but I completely get how important it is to this whole story and to the time period

The first exciting turn of events!!! I am really enjoying the book and how different it is and how the abuse and the closeted identity was the reality for people in the 60s.

“People think intimacy is about sex. But intimacy is about truth. When you realize you can tell someone your truth, when you show yourself to them, when you stand in front of them bare and their response is ‘You’re safe with me’—that’s intimacy” (112).

⭐️⭐️⭐️ rn. turning the pages, enjoying it and how it’s different from things i have read before. but it’s not like amazinggg just good right now.

Great book, really enjoying how I can look up the places in Hollywood and they are real. Maybe historical fiction is going to be my shit.

I like the characters and feel attached to them because of the previous books but nothing new is intriguing me yet.

it’s a lot like pll in the sense that there’s so much new info every chapter and some crazy thing to end it but no answers, just more questions 😡

that chapter had me really intrigued with the drunk gambling guy Ron who answers questions and the text saying “stop looking for me”

borrrringggg don’t want it to be the cop but that is a slightly good twist idk
