perhaps there’s something to be said for a book that makes me want to scream every 2 pages. maybe it’s confronting me with some of my own character flaws and insecurities regarding anxiety. or perhaps, in all likelihood, the problem is the writing of a character so over-exaggerated and void character outside of his anxiousness thus far that i simply cannot be compelled to read on—but i will.
