picked this up again after a Long Break. i swear i will finish this book this year.

after camus we read nagel’s the absurd and gowan’s the buddha’s message!! both really insightful and overall i do like absurdism as a way to look at life but not really as a philosophical school of thought; it just seems obvious to me that things do, in fact, matter lots in life. buddhism on the other hand i could get behind, seems pretty fire.

ok this book quite cute la. he’s about to meet the aliens i am so optimistic for him!! i hope it goes well

reading for class!!! first chapter we read was schopenhauer’s “on the sufferings of the world” and it was my first time reading any Old German Philosophy. we shall see how the rest of this goes.

picked up this book from seattle!! i am so captured by the absolute absurdity of this book; i love the worms i love gelsomina everything about this book is so joyful and it tickles me greatly

finished picking sweetgrass!! if im being super honest (hana let me know if this is just me or if you agree) the initial novelty of the book/its lessons is wearing off a little and it is taking me abit more effort to pick it up and keep reading but i think that its solely because its non-fiction and episodic which isn’t a bad thing at all. nonetheless we press on and i keep reading and learning!!

so i didnt realise that this book is “short” enough to not have chapters so the whole thing is one long scene which is quite sick honestly. narration really continues to blow me away.

guys unironically this audiobook is so awesome seriously - there’s a cast (more than one narrator) but the main narrator is so good. and the story is so fun and i so far am really liking this
