A chill day spent reading this book today. Was much better than I expected, overall enjoyed the plot and was a twist at the end when the email stalker turned into a complete psycho and kidnapped her! The bit i did not like though was the whole miscommunication plot line between the main characters, they were meant to be best friends for years and yet he just automatically believed crazy lies from his gf at the time

Overall enjoyed the plot and was a nice slow burn. But the pacing of the book was annoying, everything got wrapped up so quickly at the end. Up until the last half a chapter the main characters weren't even in contact and hadnt been for months, then they saw each other one said a simple im sorry then they were together and the book ended

The protagonist is such a wet lettuce! She literally let her mother, mother in law, sister and husband plan her whole wedding. Proceeded to complain about it at every point. Also was supporting a girl breaking up with her brother, cos he was completely controlling everything, and then was like yeah but thats not me...

This is the latest full book in the series I was telling you guys about and it was a fake relationship plot line, my fav! Very cute and exactly what I needed when I haven't been able to sleep in the heat

I forgot to update this last week. It was a book about a hen do and it felt appropriate, but then the bride was meeting up with her ex partner and reflecting on her love life. Luckily not how Beth's went!

A Greek romance on my Greek holiday! Love me a fake dating storyline, the main character is a bit unhinged though - literally goes to Athens to get his ex to call off his wedding even though when they were dating he turned down 2 proposals

Today's beach book, although finished the last chapter at tonight's restaurant after dinner. I was all in for this book from the blurb, the main characters had broken up 5 months previously but not told their friend group and then find themselves on a week holiday all together and don't want to spoil it so act as if they are still together. Disappointed in the other characters development though

Finally picked up from my last holiday reading. Really interesting case studies about accidental deaths in elderly people, and how related incidents are to the deaths from change in routine. However I'm not going to finish it this holiday as the final chapter is getting a bit much, all about his own feelings about his own impending death and risk of strokes. Fear i will end up crying on the beach or at breakfast...

Also forgot to add this one that i finished days ago over a few beach days and breakfasts... very wholesome book about two school friends reuniting and uncovering a deeper connection

Keep forgetting to update with my beach reading as dont have signal to load goodreads there, finished this one this morning while Dan was getting ready, the ending when she told her daughter about her inoperable brain tumour has me bawling so just as well I wasn't reading on the beach!

This was a strange plot, he basically was a self centered idiot, but for 3 years she pretended to be over him, and then at the end he apologised and they ran off and got married..

Trying to get my reading back on track. I already know the main characters brother is going to be an absolutely insufferable rich dick!

Another night not being able to sleep past 4am, another book devoured! Enjoyed it and had a nice happy ending, the main character was a sex and relationships therapist and ended up helping out her sisters too

Couldnt sleep last night and devoured this book, oops! Was a cute read and a good ending. Although damn she is dramatic, at one point texts to say im leaving the play then blocks everyone, deletes all social media and goes to bed for 4 days! Who needs communication 😭

Thought i would try some historical romance, and this book was not for me. Finished it cos I hate leaving books unfinished, but was just skimming through it by the end

The ex bf is written to be such a convincingly selfish dickhead! But the fact she even considered getting back with him wound me up. I get that books like to have a final twist before the end, but this was so unnecessary, like it could've just been 100 pages shorter to give a much nicer and more convincing ending.

The two characters relationship building while they've been staying together and also realising that her ex lied to both of them about each other too, has been paced nicely and is very wholesome

Very much enjoying this plot. The main character just found out her bf was cheating for their whole relationship. She gets a reminder about the apartment she had rented the following week too late to get a refund she decides to go on her own. Except her ex told his best friend that he could use the apartment, and that it was all paid for already. They both decide to stay, and get to know each other at the same time

The main character girl was just mean at a lot of points. I get they were going for a grumpy/ sunshine pairing, but the things they said to each other were just mean. Overall okay, just more to tick off the series

So I realised I managed to read this series out of order, already read books 2 and 3... but each book follows the story of a different member of the hockey team falling in love. So they made sense without this one, just got introduced as a couple in the other books.

Very cute and cosy read. But if the main character was a real person she would be so annoying, no one can have their whole personality be that they love autumn

Picked this up again, the first physical and serious book I've read in over a year! It was hard work to hold in bed, I quickly remembered why I read on my phone

This book was a little confusing at times cos it was an enemies to lovers romance, about a woman writing an enemies to lovers romance. And parts of chapters were from her book, but she was basing her book off of her own experiences 🤯

Got access to a whole load new books, as mum and I have swapped library logins! Been recommended this author before, but my library didn't have any of her books. So far looks like it is going to be a good enemy to lovers due to close proximity storyline

His sister deserves a character arc that she never got, she was just a bitch all the way through. The Scottish speaking was still as confusing all the way through too! Overall okay storyline, left on a bit of a we will see how it goes note though

Love a fake dating storyline. They've just got to Scotland to meet his parents, and their speech is written very Scottish, its so hard to read and half the time I have no idea what they are saying

Oops keep forgetting to update my progress each night. Enjoyed this book, looking forward to the rest of the series. Apparently there is a Netflix series/film that has just come out based on this book series too.

Keeping on an ice sports theme - this time ice hockey

Multiple times I had to check if I had already read this book, the plot is almost identical to the last book I read about a figure skating couple which was weird! Also the second half of the book was just them fucking in different ways and places, there wasn't much plot left by the end
