Today's beach book, although finished the last chapter at tonight's restaurant after dinner. I was all in for this book from the blurb, the main characters had broken up 5 months previously but not told their friend group and then find themselves on a week holiday all together and don't want to spoil it so act as if they are still together. Disappointed in the other characters development though

And the reason for them breaking up in the first place was so stupid, they were engaged and had been dating for 8 years but broke up in a 4 min phone call and never spoke again.. the book was a series of flashbacks and real time, so only found this out like 3/4 of the way through and up until this was enjoying it a lot more
