The ex bf is written to be such a convincingly selfish dickhead! But the fact she even considered getting back with him wound me up. I get that books like to have a final twist before the end, but this was so unnecessary, like it could've just been 100 pages shorter to give a much nicer and more convincing ending.

The two characters relationship building while they've been staying together and also realising that her ex lied to both of them about each other too, has been paced nicely and is very wholesome

Very much enjoying this plot. The main character just found out her bf was cheating for their whole relationship. She gets a reminder about the apartment she had rented the following week too late to get a refund she decides to go on her own. Except her ex told his best friend that he could use the apartment, and that it was all paid for already. They both decide to stay, and get to know each other at the same time
