2/1–Actually started reading this in January. Despentes would probably appreciate this: it was my bathroom book for awhile. As in, I had it in the bathroom for the occasional read, but then couldn’t put it down one day. Oh, but old Vernon is an ass. At least, unless he isn’t. So, I had to know how his story plays out. I’m about two-thirds through now, and I already know I’m going to want to read VS2.

Okay, so, like a twit, I got this on my kindle. All the footnotes are at the end—and there’s no indication which footnote goes where? So, FOMO. Need a trip to the library for this.

Stayed up until almost one o’clock in the morning to finish the first section, if that’s any clue?
