Oh man…so that’s how Seb goes out. Still can’t help but feel there was more to him we don’t know…

Gah! How could I have forgotten?!? Totally forgot about Seb, I am still waiting to get the story with this guy that’s been brewing since book 1…

And Torj…racking my brain. I cannot remember the story of his upbringing. Wonder if he’s somehow one of the lost male heirs of Naarva…hmmmm.

Talemir…Talemir…the more I read, the more obsessed I get with his character. Oh.My.Word.

I will admit I had made assumptions about him based on Wilder’s POV/memories. But that novella…eyes are wide open… and Talemir…woof. Fire. 🔥

Goddamn, Drue is so strong, I love her. Her stance on the war and her son…ugh.

I am really enjoying this blue sapphire storyline and what this little gem represents to these warswords. When this gem appeared in Thea & Wilder’s storyline earlier in the series, I had a feeling I was going to like whatever it was about and my gut was not wrong.

Ugh, that short exchange between Torj & Wilder about Wren & Thea. Made my heart pitter patter.

I think Talemir & Drue are my fav characters in this whole series…

The blue sapphire was Talemir’s mother’s…she had received it from someone who had to leave her and told her…

Ha - Talemir is an unapologetic lover of romance books. “Don’t underestimate the skills you can learn from a romance book.”

Only a few chapters in and already I love the dynamic between Wilder & Talemir. This is what I had hoped it would be and I’m eating it up.
