Hafsa is starting Why History Matters?: Reviving Faith Through the Lens of History
It has been published !! I have started reading it alhamdulillah and it is amazing so far. I’d really encourage other Muslims, especially those interested in history or academia etc etc etc to pick this up. It’s something new, bringing the past present and future together. And very insightful and full of knowledge that is accessible.

Hafsa is starting Beyond Human Nature
It’s a nice book, and if you are new to psychology I think this is also a good book to build ur knowledge. I don’t think I’ll be reading it continuously but it’s a nice book to pick up when I want something a bit lighter.
I’d recommend to those who want to learn more about psychology, but if u have a bit of background on it - it’s a slower read

Hafsa is on page 50 of 180 of The Great Gatsby
The first few chapters are based on large parties & lots of socialising with others. Drunk and unpleasant socialising. Reading this as an (somewhat) introvert who has a distaste for being in environments where no one actually gets along naturally, I’m tired hahahaha.

But it is good! And enjoyable! Will try and finish today :D

Hafsa is starting The Death of Expertise: The Campaign Against Established Knowledge and Why It Matters
Umm so I picked this up, read the first few pages. The tone and style of writing, and his convictions were disagreeable. I dug a little deep and he is right wing (albeit against Donald trump) and a genocide denier 😃 and his Twitter is umm.. 😟 so moral of the story: research the author before u buy a book 😃
