Very angsty step bro vibes… it’s kinda growing on me. But a slow start 😩

I’m not gonna lie… Starting this book / novella I thought I would hate the main character because I fell in love with Edwin and I didn’t realize how someone could leave him after 10 years. The only reason I’m continuing is because Alexis Hall is an amazing offer and I’m ready to change my mind about this dude.

I think this author is amazing at describing depression. It definitely makes you feel like you’re right there with them. I really enjoy how they describe the main male lead entering the main character‘s life.

The MC and story is so unbelievably good. I feel so sorry for him and love him so much. His relationship with his brother and his perseverance through hardship is so amazing. His life is so horrible and I want a happy ending for him always.
