The way everyone just accepts these stupid wooden people reminds me of A box full of darkness the way everyone just accepted Ben was always there. It also reminds me of It in that everyone seems to forget traumatic events and move on super fast

I hate all these people. Nathaniel refusing to let Violet finish a sentence when there are obvious things they need to talk about. And Violet could have ended this by ending Sedgwick but why do that when we can have a stupid confrontation with her old boss?

Why is going along with the restaurant ideas when she knows they’re bad?

This author clearly doesn’t understand farming. And why does James hate Tommy? And why won’t he admit he has feeling for Madison? Everyone is so stupid

I love how sweet Tripp and Dex are to each other. And I really love seeing Dex, that beautiful himbo, thinking this all through and learning things about his sexuality

Madison is so annoying

I know we’re only getting the story from Kat’s perspective, but Heath is the author of most of his own pain. He constantly disappears rather than having a conversation, he assumes the worst every time, and he antagonizes Kat at every turn. It makes me so sad.

Why do I keep trying to like romcoms? I’m almost always disappointed. Page 28 and it’s already annoying me. Madison is a whiny sad sack and we’re already getting broad hints that James has been in Love with her for over a decade. Plus it’s implied the whole restaurant idea was a made up job for her.

Imagine moving someone into your house and your bed and it’s a month before you so much as kiss. They both seem to accept that they’re soulmates. Why are they just now having some of these conversations?

I’m starting to lose the plot here. I was looking for eternal soulmates and I’m getting a field trip through LBBTQIA+ relationships through time. Abraham and Jasper broke my heart and since then it just gets less romantic and more…instructional? Idk

Omg this book is giving me such anxiety for Torey. The way things from the future/past come into the story, knowing where it’s heading, and not knowing what he remembers or believes 😥

I keep going back and forth on disliking Sam. I understand getting “stuck” when plan A doesn’t work out, but I can’t stand that she’s so locked in to an extremely narrow and niche career trajectory that she won’t contemplate any other path forward. That shit may fly for a while, not not five years. And her daddy issues make me want to slap some sense into her. He’s Never. Coming. Back.

I think I’m going to DNF. Throuples aren’t really my jam, Bow is the least interesting character ever, and the way Wells treats everyone is just kinda gross. Plus the second Bow called Wells daddy I booed out. Yuck.

Oh my goodness. Any time I get Kyran’s pov I lose a little more of my heart. Im a simp for broken boys who hide their trauma and lash out in their pain. Avi is amazing but also a golden retriever.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh this book. I don’t think I can finish. It’s so very very bad. The characters suck, the plot sucks, the humor is painfully not funny, and I don’t even know what to say about the skeevy sex scenes.

Over 1/4 of the way through and the MCs aren’t even close to meeting. I don’t think the third book in a series needs this much world building a s backstory.

Okay, it’s getting good. The gameplay bits can get tedious, but the voice acting is top tier and the plot is picking up.
