Liking it so far and because it’s TJR I’m ready for this to hurt me emotionally

I actually love that Theo is messy. At first I thought it was going to be kinda boring, like I was skeptical starting this book. I thought Theo was going to be a boring narrator but I think I'm going to be proven wrong!

I know Weed can be addictive but lord he's talking about it like it's meth lol

Fuck Apollo, love me some Jacks! Aurora sucks and I still want a book about Chaos/Castor. Actually I want a novella about Lyric, Castor and Jacks.

Wowowow yummy yummy Chaos! I want more Chaos! Dark and morally grey vampire who is the Lord of spies and assassins??? YUMMY! Of course Jacks still has my heart but I'm going to need a book dedicated to Chaos. Really like Lala! Evangeline needs more positive women in her life who support her and I hope Lala becomes that for her.
Oh and even though I'm over pet names in romantasy books, "Little Fox" is super cute.

RIP Apollo lol, definitely thought we were going to get more of him. Feels reminiscent of Nicolas D'arcy in terms of build up for a character to just be quickly killed off. Obviously never thought him and Evangeline would last long because there are 2 more books and Jacks is obviously her man but once again, just really expected more from him.

Not surprising at all but I'm loving it so far!!! I like Evangeline but why does Stephanie Garber like to write lowkey dumb FMC's??? Okay she's not fully dumb but definitely has some stupid moments. I'm glad that she's not fully convinced that Marisol is innocent. Granted I think she should be more suspicious but I'll take her doubt.

I was worried I was going to get tired of this world after quickly finishing the Caraval trilogy. I burnout from a series pretty quickly because I'm such a mood reader and the whole reason why I read the trilogy was to get to this series but YUP IM EXICTED FOR THIS! I'm super intrigued already and can't wait to see where this goes!

If this wasn’t a YA book I think there would be a serious fear that Gavriel would want to 👉👌🍆💦 Scarlett ya know???

Really loving the concept of these Fates. Still enjoying this series but I'm glad it's only a trilogy.

I fear this is wrong book, wrong time for me. It's just not doing it for me. I'm still going to continue because I sometimes struggle with putting down a book.

I’m all for books having their own terminology but I’m only 21 pages in and the word “turn” used as year is NONSTOP! I checked how often it’s used… 183 TIMES!! So far it’s a rocky start, don’t love the introductions to some of these characters. Feels vague. We’ll see where this goes…..

My main issue with both Scarlett and Tella in these books is that they are so one track minded.
Tella keeps on repeating to herself that nothing is real during Caraval, every single thing is an illusion or just part of the game but like... girl you know that's not true. Yes a lot of it is fake but SOME things are real! It feels like the answer is right in front of her but she can't get past this thought.

Really considering dnfing right now. It's just boring! Nothing really happens! Everything is all talk and no pay off. The only reason I'm reading at this point is because of Asylum and Mirage, I really wanna know if they are the same person but idk it it's worth it anymore. Plus Bryce is being brought in to the group and I seriously couldn't care less.

Wtf Dante?? Human flesh bracelets?? And one of them is your mother?? And you just told Sirena that if she were to every try to get away he would hunt her down and make her a bracelet too? Babes I love a psychotic man down but the whole killing small animals and the vague allusions to cannibalism is just making me dislike Dante even more.

So Mirage is Seth but Mirage is separate from Asylum... but Asylum and Seth are the same WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON??? I genuinely found this intriguing but when no questions are answered 4 books in, I start to get detached

Wait so Mirage is Seth? They really made it seem like Mirage is a separate person but also somehow tied to Asylum? Is Asylum not Seth? If Seth and Asylum are the same then they are also Mirage? I don't understand anymore and I certainly don't care about Bryce. I'm getting bored and confused.

Ughhh all the guys do is cry and make empty threats! They don't actually stop anyone from hurting Sirena. It's always "I'll skin you alive and eat you if you look at her or touch her" but no skinning or eating has happened. What's the point of her 6?7? protectors when they DON'T DO SHIT.

Why does Sirena only talk to Stitches? Church literally gets violent and begs her for a single word and she refuses to speak. Also, I'm still sus of Bryce. Sometimes I think he's good but other times I feel like he might betray Sirena.......

Holy shit this is the most Sirena has ever spoken in all three books so far! Maybe try speaking to the sister who has been with you through thick and thin for years......

who the fuck is Mirage?

I realized one of my biggest issues with this series. Most of the guys (especially Church) are always going on and on about how they're badasses who will protect Sirena and kill/maim anyone who dares hurt her... but they don't do anything. It's all talk and internal dialogue. I want to believe they're "bad boys" but Church... all you do is hunt little animals. That's just sad and weird, not hot.

is asylum/seth magical?!?!?!? like whatsup with the mind reading???? also this book is not great, very stagnant and depressing. i feel like some authors try so hard to be “dark” instead of delivering a coherent and interesting story for the characters they’ve created

A bit dissapointed that this is how we're continuing the story. I don't need Sirena in a catatonic state, she already doesn't speak or communicate so like... give me more from her and give me more her interacting with the guys. I wanted a book of Asylum/Seth "owning" Sirena while the watchers try to get her back. Don't give me this torture stuff. It's fine so far but I'm definitely cautious on where this is going.

I'm really enjoying this book so far! Was not expecting to like it this much. Still have a couple qualms but nothing too off putting. Love me some Stitches and Ashes

also bryce gives me bad vibes, you read her file and transferred into almost all her classes, yeah no i’m keeping an eye on you sir
