The world building and characters are very well done and create such a great atmosphere for the mystery being setup. Also the artwork and writing is phenomenal and just makes each turn of the page worth it.

Just an absolute blast to read. Kingpin and Kilgrave are both great antagonists that I have only come to enjoy more, especially after their appearances in the Netflix Defenders shows. I think all these characters are just really fun to see team up and this issues, while mainly revolving around Daredevil and Spider-man, gives each of them a moment to shine.

Dumb fun issue. I think Morpheus’ powers are a little confusing, or maybe I just don’t get it, but other than that it’s enjoyable.

Really good issue, I love when comics dedicate issues to fleshing out side characters and giving them stories that really allow you to connect with them.

I wish we’d see this side of Marc more often. His breakdown as he starts to believe that everything was all in his head. I like when the comics keep Khonshu’s existence ambiguous and don’t downright confirm whether it’s all in Marc’s head. The ending with Marlene not telling Steven whether or not the statue is a replica, or even if it was made before or after his breakdown, is gold.

This is the stuff I love to see. I love Marlene reiterating that nobody can be sure if Marc really was revived with the soul of the Moon God, but all she knows is that he believes that’s the case. In saying this she also points out the fragility of his mental state and ‘schizophrenia’. I like bringing back Midnight Man especially with his now burned face. Really great stuff.

Fun conclusion to the Chicago water poisoning. I don’t think any crazy new ground is being broken in these issues but they are still pretty fun.

Shocked that this is my favorite thing from “The Court of Owls Saga”. I think the story of a citizen of Gotham trying to repay Batman back for something that he probably barely recalls is really interesting. I thought this issue was really well written.

I think it’s a good decision adding some doubt to Lincoln’s claim of being Bruce’s brother, that is what I was hoping they’d do. The stuff with Alfred’s father feels like a very random inclusion, but I don’t think it’s bad. I do think Lincoln’s Iron Man Talon suit is bad though.

I think it’s easy to predict Lincoln being the big bad, but I think the reveal is handled well anyway. I do think it would be far better if Lincoln was lied to and isn’t actually Bruce’s brother. Almost done with the Court of Owls saga and all I can really muster is that I found it pretty disappointing? For a story that feels so hyped up, I am pretty bummed with how sloppy it all feels to me.

Very cool issue, love seeing Bruce use everything as his disposal fighting the Talons. Lincoln’s death, if he’s really dead, is upsetting because their dynamic was one of my favorite things to come out of the first few issues.

I think this is the best issue from this run so far. I enjoy the tension and the discovery of the Talons that Bruce is Batman. I still am not a fan of the paneling but I think the art is better this issue. Invading Wayne Manor is well done.

The fight between Batman and Talon is fun. I think it’s great that they show that even in his delusion Batman was planning, with taking parts of the camera.

I think this issue is very whatever. I think the sideways and upside down pages is cool in theory, but in actuality I think it’s kinda just an annoying gimmick. I like Gordon keeping the signal on until Bruce comes back though.

The court of owls is a really interesting concept. Im not sure how I feel about Bruce just downright insisting that the court of owls does not exist no matter how much evidence he keeps finding. I understand the story reasoning of how he doesn’t want to admit he was wrong, but part of me still feels that this childish insistence is a little nonsensical for how far into his career he is.

Glad to see that this run, or maybe just court of owls, will perhaps just get better and better. I like the relationship and similarities between Lincoln and Bruce, very curious to see what’s to come from it. Talon is cool as fuck, and I like being thrown into a world where Batman has been doing this for a long time.

It’s very tragic, Bruce’s conclusion of why he thought Betty loved him. He struggles the see the difference between him and Ross by the end which is what they’ve been building too with the dog metaphor. And since Betty already loved her monster of a father it wasn’t a stretch to him at she could love a monster like him.

I like the dynamic with Hulk and Betty a lot, and how Samson points out that Betty was going through the 5 stages of grief over Bruce. That’s definitely something the character needs to know that Betty did love him.

Loeb is clearly a master of storytelling, and Sale is the perfect artist to compliment him. Bruce’s story of the dog biting the mans hand and how he isn’t quite sure whether him or Ross is the dog or the owner, is phenomenal.

The story of Hulk’s first kill with the rabbit, is a perfect metaphor for the character. He craves connection, but someone always ends up hurt. I didn’t know about Tony Stark’s appearance in the story that’s a really fun moment, and it makes me sad that Loeb and Sale never had the opportunity to make Iron Man: Gold like they apparently planned.

Loeb has such an incredible way with words, that it makes seemingly simple moments so beautiful. The scene with Hulk at Betty’s door is a genuine masterpiece of comic.

The more of their comics i’ve read the more ive come to absolutely adore Tim Sale’s art and how it lends itself to every story he works on. Loeb and Sale were an untouchable duo. The way the color and the style lend itself to the story Loeb has written is incredible. I’ve always had a deep love for tragic characters and I love that Loeb and Sale shared that admiration.

It’s really fun watching as Moon Knight slowly evolves each issue into the character he becomes. This issue further foreshadowing his DID and also adding Lockley’s mustache. I think the plot of poisoning Chicago’s water is also really fun. Lowkey Batman Begins stole that shit.

I think this is a fun issue involving the whole gang, but what I really love about this issue is the work they put in laying the groundwork for what will become Marc’s DID. I also am thankful for how they back out of the whole werewolf powers in this issue.
