Wild way to start off the first chapter and I absolutely loved it

Zane or Hawkeye is a mercenary that is currently working with a man she is trying to take down

Reads like a movie, time jump around chapter 3 did confuse me until I figured out it was a time skip and not a flashback
Sorine is a mercenary? Who stumbles across Hawkeye’s team who is after the same person as her

Beginning is absolutely rough to read through, it’s so childish which I understand slightly but they’re 18 talking like they’re 12

Killian is in maximum security for 7 years before being willingly unleashed into Elenor’s house so she can work on trying to rehabilitate him and prove the board members wrong about this program

She becomes a psychologist who is doing a rehabilitation program
He intentionally gets put in prison to be safe from the Order and orchestrates everything so he would be fit for the program and get rehabilitated by her after being obsessed and stalking for years after her fathers murder
She would be rehabilitating him in her home that has gotten redone for her safety

Adam looks like your typical bad boy that has Isabella crushing the second their eyes meet at the bar. He gifts her the nickname of little orchid after catching her when she stumbles and notices her orchid hairpin

She is in a mafia family who doesn’t care about her, just wants her locked away like a pawn. Adam is a hitman.

Very thankful for the dictionary for all the Italian words!

Some of the pov switching didn’t quite feel like it matched up so it got a little confusing

It’s good but if you don’t understand Spanish you might not know what they’re saying

Eli is the storm Millie needs, what she’s been craving for. The book is absolutely addicting. I’m reading this book every moment I get through the day.

It’s the perfect trope of he’s rough with everyone but her. Creed is an addicting broken guy that you want to crack open.

I was gifted this book as an ARC read for the audio book. I was hooked the entire time. Malcom is the protective man that is easy to love. He’s obsessive, willing to do what it takes to satisfy his needs.
Trigger warnings are definitely encouraged to be read. Not only is this an age gap, dad’s best friend book. But there is plenty of other topics such as foot play, sleep play, and so much more.
