I actually don’t know why she’s still with them tbh.

They’ve admitted they’re willing to keep her safe even if it means breaking her heart or disrespecting her wishes. They continually do what they think is the best and make her feel like shit when she expresses her fears.

They love the idea of her but they definitely do not love her.

I’m 75% into the last book of this series and I’ve come to the conclusion that the author simply hates the FMC she’s created.

Ro makes legitimate arguments every time the four OG MMCs fuck up, and they DEFINITELY fuck up. But all of them, and even her best friend, just tell her to look at the logic of it. The amount of gaslighting she goes through and ends up going with the flow is so frustrating.
