This one is a much smoother read than some of the others but still grates on my pet peeves here and there. Perhaps the menage content ihelping me along as I really want to love this triad and I really want to enjoy Karen Nappa's writing. I am coming to the conclusion that (1) I am not the audience that Karen Nappa write for, and (2) their writing style and my reading enjoyment do not go hand-in-hand for the most part

I'm equally attached to the Spike/Millie couple as I am to the future Grady/Steele sandwich that I hope comes in this series or a spinoff series.

My brain needs to stop pairing up the unattached side characters just because the main couple is at the tense rough-patch phase.

I have never wanted to give a great big hug to a politician more than I have wanted to cuddle Rex. The man needs it. :'(

I'm barely 4% into this ebook and could wax poetic about Lindsey's writing style that makes me smile with tears in my eyes and a cinch on my heart. Oh wait, I just did.
