I’m only invested in this book for the drama at this point. And of course chapter 12 ends with DRAMA!

A tavern, in a town of camels, called Toe… Another called Spit and Swallow… and a lizard mob thats part of a reverse-harem… Lovely 😂 Also, Lucia Mar is batshit insane! I have a feeling she’ll be coming for Carl VERY soon…

Chapter 2:

I mean… I can agree to this 😂 Between this quote, the AI being a slut for Carl’s feet, and all of this taking place in Hump Town… I already know this book is pure chaos waiting to happen 😂

Chapter 9: A flashback chapter - Bruh. I can understand why Emma feels the way she does about Finn. I really can. But she still makes it so hard to like her as a character 😂

After reading chapters 3-5… Why is Emma still so annoying?! 😂 I get she’s trying to be a good friend and she’s in her feelings throughout all of this but like… Girl… Calm the hellyante down for 2 seconds & just go find your friend 😂 We don’t have to dang near assault people in the process 😂

Honestly tho, as indifferent as I am on Katia as a character… I felt bad for her in chapters 22-24. I’m glad she has Carl and Donut in this shit show of a world ❤️

Ok, 2 chapters in and I’m not sure how I feel about the main character, Emma. Finn on the other hand.. I love how he just shows up and starts some shit just by being at the event… The event he wasn’t invited to 😂

Strip clubs, Arby’s analogies towards pageant contestants and Judge Judy (don’t ask), and Donut suggesting Carl start a harem with women who possibly all want him dead… All things I didn’t expect to read about tonight but in fact, did.

Ok so I’m on chapter 6 now… and Idk somehow the story seems slow. Like I know they’re progressing through Floor 4 and trying to figure life out on the tracks but like… I’m not feeling this book as much as the first two. But maybe I just need more drama to happen lol

I had to take a break in reading to post this update.
“The Only Way to Learn Is to Live”… God this chapter broke my heart and made me cry. Poor Nora… Poor Voltaire… But at the same time… It hit my heart in such a way where I’m a little more at peace with when in life my cat passed. I miss you Sissy. But I know I’m not a bad pet owner bc of how/when I let you go. This update is for you ❤️

Honestly… I didn’t expect this book to be so heavy so quick. Like… I didn’t know what to expect… but not this lol. I feel bad for Nora. This hits close to home in some aspects… But I’m interested in seeing how this story unfolds

So… Not only are we starting off the book on Floor 4… But we’re in an actively moving train… And placing Alarm Traps that play random ahh songs once triggered by something 😂 Aight. At least the first song is Fergalicious 🤣
