Oh I love it!!
I love seeing Kirill change thanks to Sasha, and him being completely lost because of it.
And Sasha...she's such a strong woman. She's definitely not the same weakling she was in the previous book.

I enjoyed seeing scenes that I knew from a different perspective.

For now...everything is calm or at least...I know something big is coming. Can't wait!!

Kirill is very intriguing. He's so cold and act like a robot. He seems so unaffected by everything.
I wanna shake him to see if he's really humain XD

I like Sasha. Nonetheless, I hope she'll become stronger.
I'd like to see her stand up to Kirill more.

Anyway, I'm having fun with these two. And I know Rina Kent will surprise me. Can't wait to read more!!

Meryn is a strong heroin, with quick the temper. And she's got a good reason for that...her wolf is not very friendly 😅
And she's unwillingly part od deadly trials. What could go wrong?

Rina Kent never disappoints on this.

But, for now, Anastasia and Knox are more like two horny teenagers than anaything else. Hope the story will lead to more next :)

This book is a lot political with everything with the khagan or with the different clans.
It's quite interesting to see all this.

But otherwise, it feels soo slow.

Trouble in paradise...Kyle really messed up with this one.
But let's see what is next.

Some recents events went too fast to have the impact they could've had but it's ok. I'm know what I'm going into with Rina Kent. And I'm enjoying every moment of it.

OK, now that everything seems in place, I feel like we're going to leave the political aspect and all the court intrigues for something more.

It's still slow, in my opnion. I hope it'll start moving a bit more soon.

I wish I'd known sooner about how to read Empire of Storm and Tower of Danw in parallel. It might have made this reading easier.
Dont get me wrong, I like Chaol...but seeing in drowning in self pity is complicated ^^'

This book has been waiting for years in my TBR so it's time to read it!!

The suspense is killing me.
Like, everything seems fine...but, at the same time, I know Kyle is hiding things, the Irish mafia is a threat around them all...argh!! I need more info!!

Wow...this is such a fun read.
Rina Kent invites us in the mafia side, more specifically the Russian mafia...and I love what she did there.
You can feel the danger. Where the Elites were more refined and powerful men with lots of money. Here, we deal with more rugged men.

Rai and Kyle...they have history and it seems quite complicated between them. I like Rai and what she stands for.
Can't wait to read more!

I must admit I'm a bit lost between the different timelines and the time travels they've made...but I really enjoy being with these characters.
The main trio, Aaron, Joan and Nick have a piece of my heart.

The beginning is a bit slow but it's getting better. Can't wait to have more action now.

I wasn't expecting much of this book, of the Empire series, but damn...I'm having so much fun with these two.
Gwen is a bit naive and childish but hey, she's only 20 so nothing wrong here. And Nate...I like complicated men like him. Torn between duty and his desires.

Yep...I'm curious to see what surprises Rina Kent has for us in the second half of the book :)

Let's be honest, it's not my favorite duology by Rina Kent.
I'm not that fond of the romance aspect between Naomi and Sebastian. Not shaming anything or anyone but I'm not attached to them.

But, the plot around them (the mafia, the family ties...) are really intriguing and I can't wait to see the surprises Rina Kent has for us with all of this.

It's different from what I'm used to with Rina Kent.
Naomi and Sebastian make me uncomfortable, if I might say. Their relation is really dark and twisted.
I can't manage to get attached to them, in any way. See what I mean?

But, I'm curious to see what Rina Kent has in store for them.

Sorry but....after this, you can't tell me Carter is a nice guy. Nope!!
Right now, I'm mad. He acts like a kid making a tantrum. Tss... I'm so mad at him 😡🤬

It's cute, I won't lie...but I'm not really invested in this story.
Garrett is a real sweetheart. Jennie has had a terrible experience in the past, which explains her behavior.
But...it's very long!! The rythm is off for me...I don't know, the writing doesn't grip me.

But...it's not bad.

I still don't like Carter. Sorry, he's too much for me.
I understand, he's nice and very present for his friends and family. But nope, I can't with him.
He's not even the main character here but he takes so much space x_x

Otherwise, it's a fun read. Jennie is touching and I like Garret with her. He's so patient and caring.
Let's see where we go with them.

We start to have answers but at the same time, new questions arise. And some mysteries get darker.
Yep, still enjoying this story!

I'm enjoying this soo much.
I like the mystery around Reina's past, the duality between her in the past and her now.
I can't sop reading, I need answers!!

It's too early to say if I like Asher or not, considering he's not very talkative but...I'm sure he'll surprise me.

I don't know what to say. I'm intrigued by the political intrigue inside the palace. But...for the rest, I'm not into it more than that.

Let's see if the next parts are better.
Especially if Jin is involded. I like him!!
