It's cute, I won't lie...but I'm not really invested in this story.
Garrett is a real sweetheart. Jennie has had a terrible experience in the past, which explains her behavior.
But...it's very long!! The rythm is off for me...I don't know, the writing doesn't grip me.
But...it's not bad.

I still don't like Carter. Sorry, he's too much for me.
I understand, he's nice and very present for his friends and family. But nope, I can't with him.
He's not even the main character here but he takes so much space x_x
Otherwise, it's a fun read. Jennie is touching and I like Garret with her. He's so patient and caring.
Let's see where we go with them.
