Excited to see return of Gideon and Eva so I just jumped right in and immediately (after the 1st chapter) questioned my decision. After reading posted reviews, questionable whether it worth reading now since I hate cliffhangers I wait until the the series is complete then if I have to skim through it at,least l’ll get to the end

Quite a few LOL moments. Sad 😢 about Slade mom.
Started with audiobook - didn’t like female narrator so switched to book. Which also made it easier to skip after they got together.
I knew Oliver was jealous but was surprised at how it played out.
