Probably an unpopular opinion but this feels way more sci-fi to me than dystopian 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok for some reason I thought there were witches in this, but I guess who needs them when you have Nina!! What a character. She and her fellow all-female fighter pilot squad are reminding me of Manon and the Thirteen from the SJM universe.

Ok this is WILD, I have been fully seated since the end of chapter one. Never read a premise quite like this.

I finally made it halfway!! The length of this book should be a misdemeanor. Going to pivot to a shorter May release for a brief pause and then circle back!

I was intrigued by a “cozy fantasy” premise but I’m afraid it might be too cozy to keep my mind from wandering… or I’m just a sleepy girl idk 😅

You can cut this tension with a knife!

I feel like I’ve been reading this book for ages, and yet I’m a quarter of the way through 😅 it almost lost me but I’m trying to rally, it picked up steam at the 20% mark.

This is the first thriller I’ve read with a vineyard setting! Who knew they could be so mysterious.

So so so good. And despite the length I always feel like there’s quite a bit going on, and super high stakes.

If you’re curating your summer reading list and are looking for a YA nostalgic summer romance with a Sad Girl Summer kind of vibe, I think this might be your pick!

I had a couple of false starts on this around the time it came out - but this is one of a handful of books on my list that I want to read before baby comes, and I’m so glad I prioritized it! Beautiful writing, and despite the length I’ve been absorbed from the start. Enjoying the ride!
