When the preface asserts that you don’t have to understand the setting to enjoy the book, it feels like a bit of a red flag. And so far I’m enjoying it but I definitely don’t feel like I have a grasp on the setting 😂🚩

Perfectly put. This one was a harder one for me to read, but I still loved elements of it and some of the characters, including new ones like Fire Brandy!
