When I finished writing SNAP DECISION, I knew readers would NEED Archer Bradley's story next since his ex married his brother. He's a mystery, since he tends to stay far away from his family. When the story opens, he's literally at rock bottom. He's heartbroken and he finds out he's suspended from his pro baseball team for the first 41 games. But when he runs into the sunshiney Millie, things start to turn around!

What is your favorite part about this couple? Tatum is a hot mess, and Ford is her complete opposite—always organized, practical and in control. I love opposites attract, but I think the way he has pined after her since high school might be the best part about this couple. When she finally sees him in front of her, it's like a lightbulb turns on for her, and then the pining starts on her end, too. I just love them!

I’m hopelessly in love with Tatum Barker, and I’m pretty damn sure there won’t ever be anyone else who could possibly measure up to her.

I push everything I have into this kiss, as if I can make her fall in love with me through one single kiss filled with delusions.

Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes to write, and I think it's the reasons behind why they're faking it that make it so fun. A good chunk of the time, they're faking it to throw someone (a brother, a dad, a teammate) off the scent of their real feelings that are developing, and helping them navigate the faking while it turns from fake to real is one of the most satisfying parts to write!

I favor football romance because I grew up in a football family, but a lot of my decisions are business choices. I love the dynamic of different sports and the found family athletes can find with their teams, so sports is a fun place to be. I've also written baseball, and the 5th hero in the Bradley Legacy will be a baseball player.

This is my first runaway bride and only my second virgin in 79 books! I loved the idea of this sweet, wholesome heroine ready to get married and then pitting her against her best friend's bad boy older brother. Taking that innocence and having the bad boy show his softer side by taking care of her...chef's kiss!
