Someone I respect immensely took time this week to share how much they enjoyed my books. It meant the absolute world to me.

The best time to share encouraging words or gratitude with someone you appreciate is right now. I guarantee you will lift their spirits, reinvigorate them, and make them feel seen.

My friends! This week has been mind-bogglingly busy, so reading has been in far too short a supply.

It's almost fall! Shameless self-promotional plug: I wrote The Camelot Shadow and The Strange Task Before Me very much as fall-y reads. There's something about fall that pairs beautifully with mystery, magic, ancient tomes, and slow burns from bygone times.

Maybe grab a mocha and curl up with one of these tales? I'll appreciate you even more than I already do.

My 80s hard rock consumption has increased leventy-billion percent whilst reading this tome, and that's from a baseline of twelvety-million hundred listening units.

It's been a wonderful reading week, my friends. I finished my favorite read of the year so far, A Far Better Thing. It's magnificent, and I highly recommend it!
