So I'm going to try to do the author newsletter thing. I struggle to think of what to put in it, but the first one is almost done. I don't have a clue how often I'll run this, but it'll be as and when I have material to put in. Do sign up. Sadly, I'm considering giving up on this one. It started off well enough, but it rapidly descended into what I deemed to be a weird Dungeons & Dragons style parody that I couldn't take seriously. The only remotely interesting character with any depth is Aaron Frith, There are two pages of praise from the moment you open the book, which, if you've been a fan of fantasy long enough, you will know to be unfounded.

For the record, this book is not 624 pages. It's little over 400. I wondered why 255 pages showed as 41% when I'm in the final third of the book.
