Dammit, my eyes are leaking already.

That wasn’t very nice, Tal. But well done with the twist. Gotta love the angst.

I’m really struggling with this one. Diem is an absolute mess and I’m not enjoying being in his head. Tallus is meh. And the case isn’t interesting enough. I’m pushing through hoping it gets better.

I’m struggling to understand why I didn’t get the 5-star book that all the other reviewers got. I’m powering through, hopeful for a big comeback.

This premise is unique, I’ll say that much. But I foresee hate sex in my future, which I really dislike. I’m still intrigued.

I have a prediction here. Let’s see if I’m right.

I made it all the way to 62% without the caricature asshole. I got so exited, thinking maybe Morton skipped on the overly ridiculous. But alas, no.

Second half has been a gut punch. Wow. Loving this hidden depth that I didn’t see coming. And the relationship angst is sooooo yummy.

I didn't pay enough attention to the blurb. This setup is very unappealing. But it's Briar Prescott, who always delivers, so I'm powering through.

Any of my MM romance friends happen to know what happened to author Cordelia Kingsbridge? I don't see anything on website, etc. Just very curious since she was a favorite. I hate to think the worst.

I really hate reading about politics in my romance books. I read them to escape. I did this to myself, but I’m still hoping the story will overtake all the little political jabs and land mines.

While I’m very entertained so far, I need this to take a turn. Desperate isn’t a good look.

There’s a Gray/Jack/Jan story by Jack Pyke in here! What a nice surprise.

New-to-me author. I like his writing style. He’s definitely making me feel the story.

I knew how preachy this series has been, but I dove in anyway. Christ. I’m powerless against a new KA book, but you’d think I’d learn my lesson with this series.

Yummy relationship angst soon into book 5. I’m here for it.
