After listening to 2 back to back 22+ hour Romantasy books, this is a nice short, fun story.

I was going to give this book 4 stars because I’m skipping over pages but damn if this page didn’t hit me in the feels so it’s getting 5 stars because it’s making me cry happy tears.

Holy cap I’m actually crying real happy tears!!!! All the feels with this book. Top favorite books I’ve read all year for sure after about 114 books!

This book is so good I’m immediately invested in the story and it’s a HUGE turn on.

3rd act breakups SUCK!!! Boooo!!!

This scene was palpable ! I felt it. Her anger, his concern, and the underlying desire throughout the pain of it all.

I love this interaction. Sometimes I have a hard time distinguishing Sin from Calix though. Why does she feel this way though?

This book ropes you in quick. Gives Underworld vibes in Werewolf form.

Enjoying this as an audiobook so far. I always wish these books were dual pov but it’s still a good story. Not sure if it’s spicy yet, but definitely tension and waiting for them to break. lol

Sexy tension

Nether court we draw off the magic that runs deep underground in cold, dark places. The Infernal court draws off the molten power of the earths core. The Astral Court draws off energy above us the sun, the stars. The Hollow court draws off the air.

So far very interesting. Passion on this page. There’s just something about the name Lachlan.

I’m really excited to read more of this book. Very smutty fantasy that’s also made me laugh out loud a few times. Giving me fall cozy vibes too.

54 pages in and already better than any Ali Hazelwood book I’ve ever read.

Already a “fuck it!” moment and I’m SO IN!
