Oh Elend, that’s exactly what there is to worry about since the books title is literally, The Well of Ascension, so we’re definitely getting into the Deepness as well.

In Chapter 13 we officially meet a Terriswoman and Chapter 14 we learn her name is Tindwyl and her speciality is biographies. She’s teaching Elend how to look and sound like a leader.

Start of first favorite scene, towards end of chapter 6 going into Chapter 7.

I love how they don’t start off with feelings and let the little things they say, do, and think allude to there being something more to their relationship.

Sazed has questions and his own desires. He’s a scholar and a detective at heart.

My favorite chapter so far, Ch 6. Spook now 16 and 6 ft tall. He got rid of his accent for the most part. He send very intelligent and he calls his uncle Clubs “ Uncle Grumbles” lol but his uncle is proud of him.

Elend and Ham, the duo I didn’t know we needed! Love their interaction. I’d love to sit in and listen to Elend and Ham talking philosophy !!!

Lost archery with Wren (god of spring and iron) and became his lover.

Archery wager with her father. He had killed Xan. She says Xan was on the verge of being completely forgotten and that such a fate would never be hers.

Chapter 18, XVII Buried Prayers. This chapter made me emotional for Vincent. He’s hurt, betrayed, his family killed, and nightmares have returned. Plus He doesn’t know that it’s not that she’s ignoring him but she’s escaping from her own trauma.

Elena is 23, a little over 4 years older than Vin.
