This book is taking forever to get through because I end up stopping every 5 minutes to pray. It's an awesome book!

I found this book free on Kindle. It was written in the 2nd century by a Dominican Monk. It is a surpurb piece of work on learning to clear your mind from distractions in life and focus on union with God.

I am loving this book! It's well written and very original. It can be touching, and funny as well as serious. Definitely a good read!!

Colleen is reading Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise
I am totally enjoying this book. If I have to be nit picky, the only thing I'd say, is that its a little strange - what happens to her when she puts on a disguise. Other than that, this book is well worth reading!

Colleen is reading Blood, Bones, and Butter: The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef
Gabrielle spends the first 3 chapters describing her childhood and family life. It's a bit much, a half of chapter could have covered it. Get to the cooking and restaurant experience already!!

Ok, I'm finally reading this again. It helps that its an audiobook. I have little time to sit down and read these days.

Colleen is reading Too Many Women (Nero Wolfe, #12)
This is one of my least favorite Rex Stout books. Nero is hardly part of the story because Archie is working at the clients office so you only hear Archie's part of the story for the most part.

Colleen is reading Blockade Billy
I'm not big on baseball, in fact, as a child when I was dragged to a baseball game the only thing that brought me joy was waiting for the philly phanatic to show up. However, I love the way Stephen King develops his characters....all hail the King of fiction :)

Colleen is on page 3 of 104 of Battle for Shadowland (Witch & Wizard Graphic Novel, #1)
I only just started this book but I already have a pet peeve. I really don't like it when authors use names like, "the one who is the one" and call cities names like "freeland" really...the author can't come up with better names than that?
