This is an exquisite novel with a powerful message. It’s an eye opening and immersive lesson in anti-racism. I want to listen to it again.

Couldn’t get into it.

Could not put this down!!! I’m not usually a fiction reader, but this caught my eye and the audio was available on Libby. Dang! This really drew me in. I enjoyed being immersed in a small Australian town, and the layered emotional lives of the characters. I also appreciated the authors treatment of domestic violence, and how it affected the character going through it.

I’m loving this book!

We didn’t finish this one. The plot was pretty slow moving, and my son got bored. 😐

This book and the accompanying podcast series is and has been a great blessing to me. Lots of similarities to Keller's Every Good Endeavor, but JMC's approach to the material is still relevant and helpful even though it's not really original. Originality is overrated.

So far it's inspiring - especially the story of Tolkien's 'Leaf by Niggle'
