I don't know where the good reviews came from. At 44% nothing has happened! Right now they are looking for someone making drugs and they figure about 50 of the crew are addicts! I thought this was a military Sci-Fi? AND I didn't think it would be so damn boring.

After 1 1/2 books I'm not sure I'll read the third. There's no "hero" to root for and I really don't like that. Every chapter is about a different person, Idina, Solveig, Dunstan and Aden. I feel like as we get to know them all one of them is going to die and that would suck. I like one hero that you know is not going to die if it's a series. Call me weird! LOL

This first half of the book got them to Tranquility. It just went on and on. I'm betting the second half they're going to get rid of the HIVE, the alien bad guys, and settle down. The three 5-star reviews must me friends of the author's cuz this is terribly boring. Not sure I'll finish it. Didn't have to be almost 400 pages. Way too long.

Pretty slow and boring up until this point. Not enjoying all that much. If it doesn't get any better soon I'll be done with this book.

J.B. Turner needs to read the Jack Winchester series, or the Grey Man or Jonathan Quinn or Orphan X to learn how NOT to sound so stupid when he talks, to anyone! AND he needs to stop having his MC's taking drugs. This one takes steroids and amphetamines and in the Jon Reznick series Jon pops Dexedrine pills like they're M&M's. WTF? I may or may not finish this book then I'm totally done with this series.

I read all 7 books in the Hellequin Chronicles but that was 2 years ago and I've probably read a couple hundred books since 2018 so I don't even remember the series. Why the hell would he continue that story instead of starting a new one, especially with characters you don't even remember. I'm struggling with this one. THEN he came out with book 8 in that Hellequin Chronicles, that he wrote 3 years AFTER book 7. Jeez

I sure don't get all the rave reviews. One minute Jake's lusting after some girl, then he's giving someone a tat, then he's being visited by some djinn then in the very next sentence he's 12 years old again and in the mental institution then he's at his mother's then he's visiting Motown at the institution. It's all over the place. I'm not even sure I'll finish this, unless it somehow gets better.

That's all I can think about. We shouldn't have had to wait this long to find out her real age.

Still good but nothing like I expected.

I've read the epilogue and chapter 1 and I've love every second of it. I sure hope it stays this good.

I can't finish this. It's too silly and Blackheart is too... I don't know but he's just not likable. ER is always a hit or miss for me and this is a miss. Sorry!

Hmmm.. Don't think I'll finish this. I don't think I can read 330 pages of nothing but a romance where the hero doesn't want to get involved because he thinks he's been cursed. Is there anything like a stalker or kidnapper or anything like that? Something that will give it some interest?

OMG! When Michael Braun, the narrator, uses a male accent to talk he sounds exactly like Antonio Bandaras. Which is awesome! He needs to read some HR's.

Still waiting for a story to come along. Sorry, Rich Amooi but you should try a thriller or mystery because you're not very good at romances.

Emily Cauldwell has the hero sounding just like a girl! UGH! I'm glad it only has 163 pages. So many audible books/novellas free for this very reason.

This has to be the stupid thing I have ever read. The hero, "Pirate Doug," is so completely ignorant I can't believe it. If this was more than 118 pages I would never finish it. Needless to say, I won't be reading anymore from this author.

Okay, I was stupid enough to buy this 593 page because it featured my favorite male narrator. However, I can't go on. It's so boring and soooo drawn out that even Napoleon Ryan can't help it. Had it been exciting I would have finished but it wasn't, so I'm done at 57%
